The commonly used sealing materials for ballastless high-speed rail tracks can be divided into heating construction and room temperature construction according to the construction method compared to the joint materials. The heating construction materials are mainly asphalt. Among the ambient temperature construction joint materials, silicone joint materials and polyurethane joint materials have outstanding performance. Silicone sealant materials are mainly composed of single components, and their silicon oxygen bond energy is much greater than that of carbon carbon bonds and carbon oxygen bonds. They have good stability and excellent aging resistance, and can be used for a long time in the range of -60~200 ℃. Their mechanical properties, such as tensile strength, elongation at break, elastic modulus, etc., have little change. The two-component polyurethane sealant material has good storage stability, excellent low-temperature flexibility, and elastic recovery rate. At the same time, it also has good aging resistance and fatigue resistance, and is reasonably priced.
